“We are in a war with selfish, foolish & narcissistic rich people. Why is it a shock when things turn violent?” ~James Devine, NJ Democrat Party Operative and creator of #HuntRepublicanCongressmen hashtag
The forensic report on the guns used by the Democrat Party Operative James (Hussein) Hodgkinson is in. He’s the nutjob the left radicalized for years in a form of progressive jihad, yet about whom they feigned shock and outrage when he did precisely what they programmed him to do.
He openly vocalized his hatred for the right, campaigned for Socialist Bernie Sanders, illegally traveled across the country with guns, carried a hit list of Republican lawmakers, and stalked his prey before opening fire on GOP Representative Steven Scalise and others in what the FBI curiously termed a ‘spontaneous attack.’
The lab results for the guns are alarming. In addition to fingerprints of the Dem Party’s new martyr, there were tens of thousands of other latent prints. Although it was a painstaking process, the forensics team was able to identify them all. The list is a ‘who’s who’ of Democrat Party politicians and apparatchiks, Hollywood celebrities, and mainstream media superstars (Dem Party Propagandists).
The conclusions are startling on one level, but not so much on another. Every unhinged, left-wing whackadoodle mentioned in the list above is as guilty of pulling the triggers along with Jihad James. But that the left would foment hatred, revenge, and violence is nothing new.
I’ve written extensively about the Democrat Party’s long, sloppy-wet love affair with violence. It’s in the party’s DNA (also confirmed by the lab and honest historians). On January 16, 2017 I penned, ‘The Democrat Party’s Long, Violent History of Racism,’ and a companion piece, ‘The American Left’s Historical Embrace of Violence’ three days later.
I’m not one normally to chant, ‘I told you so,’ but I predicted the very kind of violence we saw with the Scalise shooting back in February in an article, ‘Left Wing Violence: What’s Next?’ Not that it was a difficult prediction to make when one considers the reflexive nature of the Democrat Party’s use of viciousness when it fails to win in the polling booth.
The left’s reaction post-Scalise was predictable and right on script. First, there were phony expressions of outrage and an attempt to distance themselves from it despite having squeezed the trigger with equal glee and giddiness to that of their radicalized new martyr.
Second, typical fawning, Kumbaya moments followed in which Republican and Democrat leaders held hands, claiming ‘oneness’ (more on that in a moment). The Dems were like the firefighter-arsonist who lights the match and then puts out the very blaze he started, hoping for some misplaced glory.
Third, within 24 hours the same Democrats who pretended to love Republicans went right back to bashing them. Nancy Pelosi had the gall to suggest the NEXT DAY that Republican rancor caused it. Scott Pelley from CBS news jumped on the fake news meme and said the attack may have been ‘self-inflicted.’
Finally, never letting a good crisis go to waste, Democrats and their sycophants demanded gun control. Take a step back for a moment and let that sink in. The same people who used guns to try and kill conservatives were now demanding their victims give up their guns. Um, not so fast.
I won’t rehash the litany of recent hate speech by the left against the right since it’s well-documented. But the constant calls for violence, threats to the President, and twisted fantasizing about assault, rape, and murder of those on the right came to fruition with Jihad James. The left created him, programmed him, and instructed him…so they now own him and the results.
This brings me to the Kumbaya moments. I want Republican leadership to STOP going along with these silly shows of unity when we are NOT united. It’s meaningless tripe which only gives aid and comfort to the people pulling the triggers. Democrats, liberals, and the mainstream media are the enemy, as clear and present a danger as any I’ve ever seen.
Instead of pretending like we have commonality, how about calling out these people in an honest appraisal of how we got here? Instead of House Speaker Paul Ryan holding hands with Nancy Pelosi, pull back and tell her in front of the cameras that we’ve had enough of the hatred and vitriol from her and her ilk.
Cite examples of the fatwas they’ve issued with every chant and call for destruction of conservatives. Reject the hollow claims of ‘enough blame to go around.’ Nope. There isn’t. This is a one-sided offensive and it’s time we push back on the premise that Republicans have even scant guilt in this. We don’t.
We can’t have bipartisanship if they’re trying to kill us. And it’s not paranoia or Democrat-a-phobia to believe the left wants to murder us since they said they will and they tried. It took President Trump to be honest with the public about radical Islamic terrorism. We now have to be honest with America about radical left-wing terrorism. Unless and until we can identify and name the enemy, we’re ill-prepared to defeat it. And defeat it we must.
Colonel Michael (“Mike”) Angley is retired from the United States Air Force, a published thriller author, and a conservative writer who fashions himself as Attila the Hun with a laptop. Mike wrote for Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government and Big Peace blogs before the Breitbart consolidation, receiving superb feedback and kudos for typically weaving in pop culture references with his far right perspectives. He enjoys writing about military affairs, national security issues, and politics and is an avid Second Amendment advocate. When he’s not writing, he’s busy annoying liberals with FaceBook posts and Twitter tweets that point out the obvious flaws and fallacies of the left.
During his 26-year USAF career, the Colonel was a Special Agent with the Office of Special Investigations (OSI). The OSI is a sister agency to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and has an identical mission that includes felony-level criminal, fraud, and narcotics investigations as well as counterintelligence and counterterrorism operations. His USAF experiences spanned multiple regions around the globe with five command assignments and duties at foreign, regional, theater and national levels.
He is a seasoned counterintelligence and counterespionage officer from the Cold War era, and if you ask him he’ll tell you the spy-vs-spy days were indeed the heady, glory era of espionage. During the latter half of his career he focused on counterterrorism missions in the Middle East and the Far East and operationalized many of today’s concepts for this unique arena while working the sand dunes of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and a few other “choice” locations. When Colonel Angley retired in 2007, he was a Senior Supervisory Special Agent and was in command of all worldwide OSI matters at Air Force Space Command in Colorado Springs, CO.
Mike Angley is also a published, award-winning author of three thriller novels in the “Child Finder” trilogy. His debut novel, “Child Finder,” received a glowing review from the Library Journal which placed it on its Summer Reading list in 2009. “Child Finder” and its companion sequel novels all won various awards from the Military Writers Society of America (MWSA) and the Public Safety Writers Association. In 2012, Mike was named MWSA’s “Author of the Year,” largely for work on his third novel, “Child Finder: Revelation.”
As an avid user of social media, Mike can be found and friended on Facebook (mike.angley) and followed on Twitter (@MikeAngley). His website is www.mikeangley.com. Following his USAF retirement, Mike and his family stayed in Colorado Springs, CO where they enjoy daily, majestic views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains.
